Ingredients:
- 4 Tomatoes
- 1/4 cup Yogurt (Curd)
- 2 Green Chillies
- Salt, to taste
- 2 pinches of Asafoetida (Hing)
For Tempering:
- 1/2 tsp Mustard Seeds
- 1/4 tsp Split Black Gram (Urad Dal)
- 1 Red Chilli
- 2 tsp Oil
- 1 tablespoon Curry Leaves
Preparation Steps:
- Cook tomatoes for 12 minutes
- After cooling, gently hand-mash the tomatoes to remove the skin and any tough portions from the inside.
- To this tomato paste, add mashed green chillies, salt, yogurt, and asafoetida.
Cooking Steps:
- In a separate pan, heat oil and add mustard seeds, split black gram, red chilli, and curry leaves for tempering
